Things to do with pork

Hello happy_eaters! Just a quick note on some things I have recently done or am intending to do with pork.

Pulled pork. I've made this several times now with a preseasoned pork shoulder cut from Ocado. I put it in a covered pan on a layer of sliced onions, then give it four to four-and-a-half hours in the oven at Gas Mark 4 (180C/350F), remove the meat and shred it, then mix in the sauce packet (heated to boiling first since it's packaged with the raw meat) along with the juices from the pan (discarding the onions).

Things to do with it: eat with seasoned rice, or serve in soft white rolls with coleslaw. Any other suggestions?

Pork belly with kimchi. Not tried this yet, but it looks great, and really simple.

Pork in ginger wine. Made this several times and it's really good.

What are your favourite pork recipes?

Alas, I cannot eat it*, but narenek and smallclanger are big fans and cook it sometimes (I eat two mouthfuls and a lot of veg, or make alternative arrangements!). They have turned it into what I gather is very good sweet and sour pork; we've put it into pasta bakes, served it shredded over a salad, and had it cold with pickles.

* The list of things I am allergic to is growing and now includes pineapple, potatoes, parsnips, and pork. The theory that I am merely allergic to the letter P is not yet proven.

Ooh, pickles, yes, I should put pickles with it next time. Thank you!

Also now pondering putting it in samosas.

I could live without pineapple, potatoes, and parsnips, but would miss pork very much :(
